Duration: 5 daysThis week-long course will teach students how to use ERDAS IMAGINE, Leica Photogrammetry Suite (LPS) Core, Automatic Terrain Extraction (ATE), Terrain Editor (TE) and Stereo Analyst. These tools will show how an efficient photogrammetric work flow can be achieved entirely within the LPS environment. The week is composed of the following separate courses: Desktop Mapping with LPS, Using Stereo Analyst, Cartography with Map Composer.Dates

Objectives, upon completion of this course, the student will have used the tools and methods needed to:
- Understand the basic of digital photogrammetric theory
- Triangulate blocks, extract elevation data and generate orthorectified imagery
- Evaluate the accuracy of the triangulation and subsequent DEMs and Ortho-imagery
- Use the LPS block within Stereo Analyst to extract accurate 3D features
- Produce ortho-accurate map compositions as output to the work flow
