Image enhancement is performed in a predefined ( e.g. standard deviation, histogram equalisation) or interactive approach (break points definition, brightness/contrast adjustment, etc.). The histogram stretching can be applied to conventional imagery(e.g. 8-bit aerial photography), as well as to imagery acquired using advanced sensors with greater dynamic ranges (e.g. 11-bit IKONOS imagery, 10-bit SPOT Vegetation Instrument).Client output can be provided on hard copy or in digital format in a variety of formats.
