Duration: 2 daysThe course is an introduction to an ERDAS IMAGINE product developed for ArcGIS users. Students will learn to:
- display different raster file formats (*.img,*.tif, etc.) in an ArcGIS environment
- perform fast image analysis operations (e.g. change detection) based on multitemporal imagery
- georeference raster data to shapefile vectors using highly efficient graphical tools
Topics Covered
- Understand, display and enhance raster imagery within ArcMAP
- Import satellite data using ArcToolbox
- Reproject imagery and create Orthorectified images
- Mosaic images to create a single seamless image
- Subset imagery to create smaller files
- Do an Unsupervised and Supervised classification of satellite imagery
- Identify and extract changes through change detection
- Update and manipulate vector and raster attributes
