Staff of SANI-ITA are experienced in the use and development of advanced convolution kernels that serve to average the value of each pixel with the value of surrounding pixels in a particular way. Convolution filters are used by SANI-ITA in the processing of imagery to smooth, detect or enhance edges. Filters can be applied to data acquired from conventional imaging sensors as well as to radar sensors.
